Language Farm Online

Language Farm Online!

Creative Online Workshops for Immersive English Learning!

Wenn ihr nicht zu uns kommen könnt, kommen wir eben zu euch!

Why?

Covid-19 has disrupted all of our lives in many different ways, including us at the Language Farm. When the lockdown prohibited Language Farm camps last year, we decided to find another way for everyone to connect, learn and have fun and it has been growing ever since. Now you can access the Language Farm from anywhere! We hope to continue being a part of your lives, building a strong online community where you can learn new skills, make new friends and have lots of fun…in English!

What?

Language Farm Online aims to provide high quality online workshops in a variety of fields, such as Creative Writing, Cooking, Songwriting and Visual Art. Similar to the Language Farm camps, our workshops will focus on immersive learning, giving students the opportunity to develop their skills in different areas…while also learning English! Each online counsellor will offer workshops on topics they have training or experience in, giving students direct access to professional knowledge, as well as focused interaction with a Native English speaker.

Creative Play Workshops

Our Creative Workshops embody the idea of immersive language learning. Whether you want to learn how to write a song, bake a cake, express yourself through drawing, or learn more about photography, you’ll have fun while practising your English! All of our Creative Workshops are taught by Native English speaking artists.

English Private Tutoring

If your child needs help with their English homework, exam preparation or English grammar rules, we also offer Private English Tutoring with TEFL qualified teachers. With interactive activities, they are sure to make foundational English exciting and engaging!

Under 10’s Tutoring

Do you have a young child who is ready to start learning some basic English vocabulary? Do you want your child to start preparing for English classes? Our 30 minute Under 10 lessons are the perfect way to start! Full of simple word games, songs and fun, these workshops will get your child excited for English classes.

What Parents & Students are Saying…

“Just wanted to let you know that my exam went great! I got the best mark possible (15 points) and I’m super happy about that :). So thank you again for your support, it really did help and I also really enjoyed talking to you again.” – Student

“The workshops are great. We’ve made (mostly) drinkable potions, played a few games and started working on a time capsule with a letter to my future self and a collage. I definitely have a great time. I really enjoy it.” – Student

“Für erste nochmal vielen lieben Dank, der workshop war der Lichtblick in der Coronazeit und hat *** viel Spaß gemacht!” – Parent

“Thanks to the lovely, committed counsellors, always teaching with humour and empathy. Our daughter experienced great moments of joy and fun. Not only did these sessions often help her through these hard times, she even improved her musical skills and practised her English. The booking procedure is really simple and prices and more than fair. Whenever she has the time, she still does songwriting workshops and loves it.” – Parent

Campfire Sessions

Building an online language farm community

One of the best parts of being on a Language Farm camp is sitting by the fireside. Singing around the fire is a big part of building a camp community, and we want to continue this tradition online! During the winter months, we will be hosting regular online campfires sessions so that we can come together during the lockdown and do what we love! So join us and enjoy a piece of the Language Farm at home. Our next online campfires will be on:

Next Campfire: We will resume the campfires when it starts to get colder!
